WHO WE ARE

Metanoia Community Church Olivehurst is a Bible-teaching Calvary Chapel church located in Olivehurst, California, serving families throughout the Yuba-Sutter area, including Marysville, Linda, and surrounding communities. The word metanoia is Greek for “repentance” or a transformative change of mind and heart — and that is our desire, to see lives renewed by the grace and truth found in Jesus Christ.

OUR ROOTS
As a Calvary Chapel, we are committed to the verse-by-verse teaching of the Bible — both Old and New Testament — so that God's people may be fully equipped for life and godliness. We embrace the balance of Word and Spirit, combining sound doctrine with dependence on the leading of the Holy Spirit.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At our gatherings, you’ll find:

  • Verse-by-verse Bible teaching

  • A warm, welcoming, come-as-you-are environment

  • Worship that is Christ-focused and Spirit-led

  • A community that values truth, love, and real relationships

  • Ministries for children, youth, and families

Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or seeking a deeper walk with the Lord, you are welcome here. We invite you to join us Sundays at 10:00 AM in Olivehurst as we worship Jesus and study God’s Word together.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Metanoia Community Church Olivehurst is centered around God’s revelation to us, the Bible. Through the teaching of His Word we learn about His character, plan, and love for us. As we grow in our understanding of Him, we experience His Spirit leading us to step out in ministry to one another and the world.
